Help at a PSU football game

Football Food Concession Stand Workers

Join the fun as 100,000 fans cheer for Penn State!  The International Christian Fellowship has workers (students & staff) at a concession stand inside of Beaver Stadium for each home football game (American football) this Fall.  We usually need 10-15 workers for each game.  If you would like to help at one of the games (and also watch some of the game at times), REGISTER.  For the registration link, contact Bill Saxton

Game entrance ticket is free. Register and Bill will give you more information.

The time of each game changes depending on the starting time arranged with the TV networks.

The concession stand is a big room under the stadium seats where we sell hot chocolate, Pepsi, pretzels, hot dogs, popcorn, etc.  Some people do the selling, while others do the food preparation.  It's a lot of fun, though we work hard at times when it is busy.  Each worker gets a free hamburger, or other food item, and unlimited soda/hot chocolate to drink.  There will be times when we are less busy and you can watch some of the game and enjoy the special atmosphere of the event.

Register your interest to help, and Bill will send you more information.

Notes:  (1)~To enter the stadium you need to bring your free ticket (Bill will give this to you), your PSU-ID card or other photo ID.   (2)~Do NOT bring a purse or backpack or umbrella or food into the stadium area. Gate Security does not allow them inside.  (3)~Do NOT wear shorts or open-toed shoes.

PS:   The money we earn working goes to ICF to pay for lots of things, but primarily for the Friday dinners and for scholarships to help you and others attend conferences.  We take international students to in places like Boston, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo.
